Already since Q4 / 2023 the 7WL Project Team in Bremen is handling the deliveries of parts for 3 dual-fuel power plants being right now under construction in Ireland.
MAN SE will supply 16 × MAN 18V51/60 dual-fuel engines with a total generating capacity of 311 MW in total. Two of them are situated near the capital Dublin and the third in the midlands town of Athlone.
These power plants are planned to be used as back up ones to compensate possible power fluctuations.
