7WL successfully delivers heavy cargo to Pennsylvania, USA

7WL Bremen has recently completed the transport of a 100-ton gear unit to Pennsylvania, USA. The journey began in Augsburg, Germany, and was initially planned as a combination of truck and barge transport to the Port of Hamburg.

However, due to severe winter conditions, including frozen inland waterways, the original transport concept had to be revised in order to meet the delivery deadline in the United States.

Within a very short timeframe, all necessary permits were secured to enable direct road transport. As a result, the cargo was successfully delivered to the vessel Atlantic Sea in time for shipment to Baltimore, followed by final delivery to the receiver’s site by truck.
